Karen Woo

Title

Karen Woo is enjoying her second year of teaching ballet and contemporary dance at PCAD; she serves as Co-Director of the Contemporary Program with William Lu. Ms. Woo was a teacher and a rehearsal assistant for the Saint Joseph Ballet for eight years. She earned her MFA in Dance from California State University, Long Beach and danced with the Bella Lewitzky Dance Company and the Gloria Newman Dance Theatre. She   has worked with such notable modern choreographers as Doug Varone, Trisha Brown, Donald Byrd, Joe Goode and Mark Haim. In addition to teaching dance, she loves being a children's leader for Bible Studio Fellowship.
