Rosemary McCarter

Ballet

Ms. McCarter trained for ten years in classical ballet and was selected to study abroad for two years at the International School of Ballet, Split Yugoslavia. She danced professionally with the Yugoslavian State Ballet. In the U.S., Ms. McCarter studied at New York at American Ballet Theater School and the Boston Conservatory. She organized and directed The Interfaith Liturgical Dance Group in Scottsdale, Arizona, and has appeared as a guest speaker for numerous dance organizations. Ms. McCarter has owned and operated ballet schools for the past 31 years and has lectured at University of California Irvine while coaching technique and choreography of preprofessional ice skaters. Her daughters are both past members of the Joffrey Ballet Company.
