Elizabeth Blackaby

Ballet

Elizabeth Blackaby is from Indiana and started dancing at the age of 7. She joined Youth Ballet of DAU and Brelsfoard Dance Theatre at 12 and by the age of 16, Elizabeth was a soloist with the Peoria Civic Ballet. Elizabeth has a B.A. in Dance Performance/ Theatre Arts from Northern Illinois University where she was a member of the Northern Dance Theatre. She has studied at the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance and Alvin Ailey Dance Center in NYC. Miss Blackaby teaches child ballet and tap and has performed with YAB in The Nutcracker. She is also the Co-Director of AMTA.
