PCAD's 2009-2010 Charity Support
The Board member, Lene Belden, who wrote the following invitation is part of our PCAD family! Hanna Belden is Miss Carol's student and we couldn't be more excited to offer our support to this worthy organization. Watch for details!
"Taking Down Autism One Step At A Time" on Sunday, October 25th!
Come out and join our Resource Fair on Sunday, October 25, 2009 in support of a common goal - to find the causes, effective treatments and a cure for autism! The inaugural Autism Speaks- Hope 4 Hanna "Taking Down Autism One Step at a Time" 5K/10K Run/Walk, and 1K Kids Run will take place in San Clemente at Plaza Pacifica on Avenida Pico (in the Wal-Mart parking lot). This event will also feature a resource fair including autism-related and family/childhood-interest informational booths. This event promises to be filled with families both afflicted with autism, and friends and loved ones who are rallying in support of them. This is a great way to showcase your business to a captive and excited audience, and we would love for you to be a part of it!
Hope 4 Hanna was started in May of 2008 by Justin Alderson, Kristen Alderson, Joshua Belden and Lene` Belden following the diagnosis of the Beldens' daughter, Johanna (Hanna) in October of 2006 with Autistic Disorder. Together, this team of four close friends hopes to raise awareness and understanding for a disorder that has reached epidemic proportions. Hope 4 Hanna is partnering with Autism Speaks in their continued efforts to find a cause, find a cure, and help people to accept and embrace the uniqueness of those individuals afflicted with autism.
100% of all net event proceeds will be benefiting Autism Speaks.
*Please visit www.hope4hanna.com for further details on race registration, information on autism, Autism Speaks, or Hope 4 Hanna and downloadable forms for Volunteering, Resource Fair Applications, Starting a Team, and Corporate Sponsorship.
Thank you in advance for your support, and please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions!
Sincerely,
Lene` Belden
